| The Movie 'One Day' centers on the main character Ethan. He owns a house with his girlfriend Lain, he rents two of the rooms to his two best friends, one is his high school ex-girlfriend Beth, and the other is his best friend from college Wes. He also owns a music store that is located at the house. Ethan, Lain, Beth, and Wes all have been living in this house together for the last two years. The movie takes place the day before Beth and Wes leave to pursue their separate career paths. The movie is about how Ethan deals with the fact that his life will be different now that his friends are leaving and he is unsure that they all will remain as close as they are and that 2 new people will be moving into the house. During the course of the day we see Ethan having conversations with his 2 best friends while still having to deal with store customers, the two new roommates who do not get along with the two old roommates, shoplifters, and people from the roommates past. Then after Ethan closes the store at the end of the day He, Lain, Beth, and Wes all have a party sort of a going away party and last celebration, and again Ethan who is on the verge of a major moment in his life must deal with random people and funny circumstances. The movie shows his two best friends leaving the next morning after the party. |
